The Bois de Prat municipal campsite welcomes you :
- From 1 April 2026 to 30 September 2026 for pitches and bivouac tents
- From 1 April 2026 to 15 November 2026 for mobile homes
Accueil Vélo Services
The Bois de Prat municipal campsite is ideally located for cycling tours and as a starting point to explore the Ardèche Mountains.
With the Accueil Vélo label, set off to discover the routes of the famous L’Ardéchoise cycling event.
We welcome cyclists for a stopover in our bivouac tents, specially designed for a cycling break. They offer 2 single beds (80 cm) on the mezzanine level (5 m²) and a small outdoor eating area with picnic table and benches. Wi-Fi access available.
Bed linen and towels are not provided.
Your bike can be stored safely in a locked bike shelter, with the possibility to recharge e-bike batteries. A basic repair kit is available at the campsite reception.

Cycling Tour Ideas
From the Dolce Via to the Vernoux Plateau (55.4 km)
Starting from Les Ollières-sur-Eyrieux, follow the Dolce Via along the banks of the Eyrieux River and through the Dunière Valley, overlooked by La Tourette Castle. You then climb towards the gentle hills of the Vernoux-en-Vivarais plateau, before reaching the charming village of Chalencon.
Enjoy stunning views on the beautiful downhill ride that takes you back to the Dolce Via, along one of its most scenic sections. A must-do ride, best enjoyed at a relaxed pace with one or more gourmet breaks.
Les Balcons ardéchois (116 km)
A four-day touring route starting from Boucieu-le-Roi. A steady climb into the Ardèche Mountains rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views — a real “wow effect” guaranteed!
Following the Ardéchoise cycling routes, you reach the village of Chalencon. A spectacular balcony road overlooking the Eyrieux Valley then leads you back to the Dolce Via, an absolute highlight. ! After a rest, challenge yourself with the more demanding Ardèche terrain towards Désaignes and Lamastre, before enjoying a relaxing return trip on the Ardèche Steam Train back to your starting point.
